Job summary

JLL in Windsor, CT is offering a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice role. You will learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronics, mechanical, computer and robotics systems in a busy distribution center while following safety policies during a structured learning program.

The program includes school, lab, and on-the-job training with engineers and technicians, plus opportunities to work with PLCs and robotics in real environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Basic troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to travel for 12 weeks of training at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer and robotics equipment in a Fulfilment/Distribution Center.
• Follow safety policies and procedures during training and on the shop floor.
• Work with instructors and engineers to understand mechatronic systems and PLCs in a lab and real-world settings.
