Job summary

JLL invites applications for the Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice role. You will engage in a structured program to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer, control, and robotics systems in a distribution center environment.

Training combines classroom, lab, and on-the-job learning to ensure safety and hands-on proficiency. You will progress from apprentice activities to performing routine maintenance and repairs, under the supervision of experienced

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel to attend training at one of 3 training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks.
• Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, reading spreadsheets, and internet browser basics.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety and work processes on school and shop floor while shadowing with a technician.
• Collaborates with team; communicates effectively in school and on the job.
• Read and use technical documentation and computer interfaces on the shop floor.
• Learn to identify malfunctions, replace parts, and restore systems under guidance.
