Job summary

JLL in the United States is seeking a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice to learn and perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced automation equipment in a Fulfilment/Distribution Center. You will train through classroom, lab, and on-the-job learning, adhering to health and safety policies.

You will shadow experienced technicians, work in a team, and develop skills in PLCs, robotics, and mechanical-electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Ability to travel to attend training at one of 3 training sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeksBasic computer skills, i.e.email, word processing, reading spreadsheets, internet browser basics.
• Basic troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer and control systems in a Fulfilment/Distribution Center.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures and work in a team environment.
• Learn PLCs and robotics concepts and perform preventive maintenance under supervision.
