Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Beaumont, CA. You will blend electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation skills, learning to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair high-performance packaging systems.

You will work with journey workers, focus on safety, and gain hands-on experience in automated equipment maintenance and continuous improvement. You will be mentored by senior technicians and coordinate with operations partners, with on-site learning at facilities that

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
1+ years of PC software experience including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
Knowledge of mathematics.
Experience with measurement reading and interpretation.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans and manuals.
Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as needed.
