Job summary

Amazon in Dallas, TX is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) to learn electronic, mechanical, computer and automation skills on high-performance manufacturing systems. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to maintain process efficiency while adhering to safety regulations.

You will work with journey workers at facilities with advanced robotics, receive mentorship from senior technicians, and be paired with upskilling opportunities to grow within the Amazon RME

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Technical training or associate degree or 1+ years Amazon RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics.
• Experience reading measurements.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachs, etc.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely.
