Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) to learn and perform maintenance on high‑automation packaging and distribution equipment. You will work with journey workers, analyze and repair systems, and ensure safety regulations are followed while supporting continuous improvement across facilities.

You will be mentored by senior technicians, relocate after program, and enroll in a 9‑week training with designated providers to build hands‑on experience in robotics and automation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Technical/vocational training or an associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ years of Amazon RME experience or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement reading interpreted.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using established plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and related components.
• Demonstrate safe work practices including lifting up to 49 lbs and climbing ladders as required.
