Job summary

EPG is seeking a Mechanical / Thermal Engineer to own the mechanical packaging and thermal design for a high-voltage battery and power electronics system intended for datacenter rack integration. The engineer will ensure the assembly fits within rack constraints while maintaining reliable cooling for continuous operation.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of thermal management and mechanical packaging of power electronics or battery systems.
Air- and liquid-cooling design experience.
High-power-density enclosure design plus thermal simulation.
This role is onsite in the Pacific Northwest and requires US work status (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

Design the battery-pack and power-converter enclosure for datacenter rack integration.
Own the thermal strategy, air- and liquid-cooled, for continuous duty.
Handle rack space, weight, access packaging, and serviceability.
Integrate rack airflow and cooling; own the thermal interface with the battery team.
Own ingress protection and high-power-density enclosure design.
