Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Mechanical Technical Trainer to develop, deliver, and manage technical training for new maintenance staff in the press shop. The role emphasizes safety and mechanical competency for efficient, safe operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a make-to-order assembly role.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement training curricula, materials, and assessments covering mechanical standards, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and press shop machinery.
• Deliver mandatory training on mechanical safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine guarding.
• Train new hires and existing staff on mechanical standards, drawings, schematics, and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Provide hands-on coaching on the shop floor to apply theory in live environments.
• Act as a technical resource for the press shop and support continuous improvement and standardization with Engineering and Maintenance teams.
