Job summary

Modine seeks a Mechanical Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and manage technical training programs for new mechanical maintenance and operations staff focused on press shop equipment and processes. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in make-to-order assembly role.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Training Development and Delivery: Design and implement training curricula, materials, and assessments for mechanical maintenance and press shop equipment.
• Safety Instruction: Deliver training on mechanical safety protocols including LOTO, machine guarding, tool usage, and confined spaces.
• Mechanical Standards: Train staff on company standards, drawings, schematics, and CMMS usage.
• Hands-on Coaching: Provide on-the-floor coaching to apply theory in live environments.
• Technical Support: Offer shop-floor support for mechanical processes.
• Floor Support: Act as technical resource for press shop issues and downtime reduction.
• Standardization: Update content with current equipment specs and procedures.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct post-training assessments and certify competence.
