Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, Mechanical, to lead supplier development from concept through full production for Starlink products. You will partner with internal engineering and manufacturing teams and suppliers to implement strategic, reliable processes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, design for manufacturability, and DOE-led process optimization to achieve high yields and robust part quality on a global supply base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with mechanical design and analysis in a production environment.
• Familiarity with metrology tools and quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes and machinery from first principles within mechanical domain.
• Lead designs from concept to high-volume production.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize processes.
