Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, Electrical (Starlink) to lead end-to-end supplier development from concept to high-volume production. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to drive hardware quality and reliability across electromechanical assemblies used in Starlink products, onsite in Bastrop, TX.

Strong candidates will have 2+ years in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with high-volume manufacturing, DOE, and process qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics manufacturing, quality engineering or reliability engineering.
• Experience with high-volume electromechanical manufacturing and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electromechanical assemblies from first principles focusing on electrical performance.
• Drive supplier development from concept to high-volume production.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, manufacturing and reliability teams and suppliers to execute supply chain strategies.
• Lead DOE to develop supplier production processes and approve FAI/PPAP reports.
• Collaborate to gain in-depth knowledge of electrical parts, assembly, metrology and sub-system design intent.
