Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, Mechanical for Starlink Aviation, based in Woodinville, WA. You will manage outsourced parts from cradle to grave, perform DFM reviews, and drive PPAP and ramp plans to meet production rates with supplier partners.

The role requires strong knowledge of quality systems, PPAP/APQP, and metrology tools, with emphasis on cross-functional leadership and continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience; internships qualify.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical point of contact, solving supplier challenges and mitigating risk in manufacturing.
• Own outsourced parts from cradle to grave; conduct DFM reviews and ramp suppliers to meet production rates.
• Partner with procurement to source parts matching supplier competencies.
