Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics manufacturing, quality engineering or reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and electromechanical assemblies from a first principles, physics-based approach with focus on electrical domain.
• Work with engineers from multiple disciplines to deliver tightly integrated hardware.
• Develop part qualification criteria and drive system-level optimization for high-volume production.
• Lead DOE to develop supplier production processes for high-rate, high-yield parts.
• Lead hardware failure investigations and root-cause analysis to improve yields.
• Direct supplier process modifications and approve first article inspections and PPAP reports.
• Collaborate to gain in-depth knowledge of electrical parts, assembly, metrology and sub-system design intent.
• Create and define supplier technical and quality requirements based on NPI lifecycle and program needs.
• Demonstrate ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage.
