Job summary

Superior Structures Inc. is seeking a design engineer to convert architectural drawings into detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans. You will manage projects from start to finish, track BOMs, and collaborate with manufacturing to keep production moving efficiently.

The role requires a hands-on, open‑minded team player with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit or Inventor to interpret drawings for shop floor execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience.
• Hands-on approach with open mindedness.
• Able to interpret architectural drawings and convert to shop drawings.
• Proficient in Revit and/or Inventor; strong communication to manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Create shop drawings as needed.
• Help keep manufacturing run efficiently and explore new ideas.
• Manage projects from beginning to end.
• Keep track of BOMs and ordering materials.
• Help other engineers with day‑to‑day duties.
