Job summary

McNamara • Salvia, Structural Engineers in Massachusetts is seeking a Project Engineer to perform structural analysis and design, model with RAM/ETABS/REVIT, and collaborate with architects and engineers on building projects. You will manage small to medium projects, interact with clients, prepare drawings and specs, and participate in construction administration including submittals and RFIs.

3+ years experience, civil/structural degree, and EIT/PE/SE licensure tracking expected; competitive

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural engineering or a closely related field.
• EIT and tracking for PE/SE licensure.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI.
• Expertise with structural programs including RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, REVIT.
• Excellent planning and organizational experience.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.

The Role

The position of Project Engineer involves structural analysis and design, computer modeling and calculations, client interaction, and collaboration with leading architects, planners, and engineers. You will work in a collaborative team environment on various building projects in a variety of market sectors, managing small to medium-sized projects.

Duties

This is a diverse role and the duties include:

• Engineering, analysis, and design tasks

Anticipated Salary Range

$80,000 to $95,000
