Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of plant-level maintenance mechanical engineering experience in metals/mining.
• Knowledge of machinery design, statistics, and project management.
• Strong CMMS experience for reliability analysis.
• Experience with NDE/NDT, oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, motor circuit analysis.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Mobility to navigate plant environment and work on feet; heights.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify mechanical equipment and systems.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives.
• Monitor equipment health and reliability performance.
• Apply API/ASME/ANSI/NACE standards.
• Conduct RCA and failure investigations.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies.
• Review maintenance data and CMMS to optimize PM.
• Support operations with troubleshooting and guidance.
• Manage reliability strategies and capital projects.
• Coordinate with third-party reliability services.
• Establish best practices to improve profitability.
• Analyze equipment history to improve KPIs.
• Write work orders and input to execution.
• Direct and coordinate work for new installations or testing.
