Job summary
Cleveland-Cliffs in Toledo, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer at our Toledo, OH HBI location to provide maintenance engineering support and maximize equipment availability. You will analyze equipment health, extend overhaul intervals, and act as a technical resource for planning, scheduling, and executing mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of plant-level maintenance mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience with CMMS and reliability analysis.
- Experience with predictive technologies (vibration, oil analysis, thermography).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify mechanical equipment and systems.
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives and monitor performance.
- Analyze equipment health and extend overhaul intervals.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance to operations.
- Develop capital project justifications and budgets.
