Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on industrial/construction projects. The role focuses on ensuring quality plans, ITPs and test packs meet site requirements while coordinating with multi‑disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in industrial construction QA/QC, strong communication, and ability to read engineering drawings. Hybrid work policy applies, with a base in the Saint Francisville/LA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or applicable on-the-job experience.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial construction QA/QC.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings.
• Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Forward thinking and willingness to implement best practices.
• Life Sciences/Pharma construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate field quality issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure contractor quality plans and ITPs align with site requirements.
• Lead contractor quality audits on site and in fabrication facilities.
• Ensure ITPs and Test Packs are understood, executed and documented.
• Assist in developing Construction Turnover Package requirements.
• Provide on‑site assistance and inspect material at receipt and prior to installation.
• Capture Nonconformities and track corrective actions.
