Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on industrial construction projects in the Saint Francisville area. You will coordinate field quality issues, validate contractor quality plans and ITPs, and drive on-site audits to ensure compliance with project specs.

The role requires a decade of relevant experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving. A hybrid work model and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience working in the Industrial Construction Field, with applicable QA/QC experience.
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings.
• Proficiency in Office 365 platforms such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

Responsibilities

• Communicating field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensuring contractor quality plans and ITPs meet site requirements
• Leading contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities
• Ensuring ITPs and Test Packs are understood and completed on time
• Assisting in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements
• Providing on-site inspection of material at receipt and before installation
• Capturing nonconformities in NCRs and implementing corrective actions
