Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Quality Manager in the Saint Francisville, LA area to oversee field QA/QC on industrial and commercial facilities. You will lead quality plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive ITP compliance to ensure construction meets project requirements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Industrial Construction with QA/QC
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents and drawings
• Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Communicate field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
• Work with discipline subcontractors to ensure contractor quality plans and ITPs are in place and compliant
• Lead contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities
• Ensure ITPs and Test Packs are understood, acted on and completed in a timely fashion
• Assist in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements
• Provide on-site assistance, monitoring and visual inspection of materials
• Ensure Nonconformities are captured in NCRs and corrective actions are implemented
