Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Project Manager - Mechanical to lead mechanical construction projects, including piping, sheet metal, and HVAC systems. You will oversee scope, schedule, and costs, coordinate with General Contractors, and ensure project closeout documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of PM experience in mechanical construction, a related degree or equivalent, and the ability to read blueprints. Up to 20% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (piping, sheet metal, HVAC)
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to pass background/drug test

Responsibilities

• Determine mechanical construction needs and responsibilities to meet customer facilities requirements
• Primary point of contact for all project activities with General Contractor or customer
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for subcontractors and manage field supervision
• Track budget, productivity, and schedule; produce monthly status reports
