Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical to support HVAC project design and management in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role involves coordinating with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and experience with engineering calculations, energy modeling, and Building Automation Systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in engineering calculations, energy modeling, construction drawings and project specs
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment systems and Building Automation Systems
• Strong communication skills and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and project management of HVAC systems, coordinating with Project Managers, clients, vendors and subcontractors
• Determine mechanical construction needs to meet customer facility requirements
• Coordinate with sales to provide data for project scope and price
• Develop scope of work and project specifications
• Support project scheduling and equipment procurement
• Prepare purchase orders for subcontractors and review invoices
• Provide closeout documentation and warranty information
