MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Mechanical in Raleigh, NC. The role leads mechanical construction projects, coordinates with general contractors, and manages budgets and schedules to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PM for mechanical piping, sheet metal, and HVAC, with strong reading of blueprints and cost control skills. Travel up to 20% is required, and a valid license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferred.
• Proven success in managing large projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Excellent communication with internal/external customers.
• Ability to write reports.
• Physical demands: frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Up to 20% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Determine mechanical construction needs and scope.
• Primary point of contact for project activities with GC or customer.
• Approve invoices.
• Develop scope of work and project specifications.
• Coordinate project schedule.
• Prepare purchase orders for subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices with vendors/subcontractors to optimize costs.
• Manage field supervision and cost estimates.
• Provide closeout documentation and warranty coverage.
• Monthly status reporting and budget updates.
