Greif in the United States seeks a Project Engineer II - Mechanical to support production process improvements across multiple facilities. You will lead medium complexity projects, develop mechanical layouts, and help implement equipment and process enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5–7+ years in manufacturing project engineering, and hands-on experience with automation, setup, and changes. Travel is extensive and essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7+ years of project engineering in manufacturing.
• Hands-on setup, troubleshooting, automation, and die optimization.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and execution of several concurrent medium complexity projects.
• Design basic mechanical layouts and suggest improvements.
• Define project requirements and create all documentation.
• Lead process improvements to productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with EH&S for safety standards.
• Provide technical consultation to maintenance teams.
