Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II - Mechanical/Electrical to support production through design, modification, and development of equipment and processes in the assigned region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Mechanical and/or Electrical preferred.
• 5–7+ years of project engineering in manufacturing with hands-on setup, troubleshooting, changeover, automation, and die optimization.
• Experience with new product development, trials, and material selection.
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams, controls, and machine safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent medium-complexity projects (2+ MUSD) including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and budget tracking.
• Design basic mechanical layouts and develop requirements specifications for assets and services.
• Develop project documentation and hand-over packages; improve manufacturing processes through lean, automation, and die optimization.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical consultation to plant maintenance for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
