Job summary

Core States Group seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage mechanical systems for a diverse range of commercial projects. You will collaborate with site, civil, electrical, structural engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver complete design development and construction documentation.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, PE license, 5+ years of building mechanical design experience, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of general building mechanical design production experience, preferably on commercial projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency with Revit, MS Office; AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Produce mechanical construction documents compliant with codes and client specs.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants.
• Schedule and lead production staff, manage budgets and project phases.
• Support in responding to RFIs and change orders.
