Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will apply your expertise in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems while coordinating with Site, Electrical, Structural engineers, Architects and Project Managers.

You will produce mechanical construction documents in line with client and code requirements, and support budgets and schedules for multiple phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production.
• PE License required.
• Revit and MS Office required, AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visit investigations and generate reports/recommendations.
• Produce design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, provide client interaction support, establish and maintain phase and task level budgets as well as schedule project phases and tasks.
• Schedule production staff and lead them through tasks, coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
