Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion within its Architecture and Engineering unit. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, collaborating with site, electrical, structural engineers, architects and project managers.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of design production experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production, preferably for commercial projects.
• PE license required; Revit and MS Office are required; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and generate reports based on findings.
• Produce design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and manage budgets and schedules for project phases.
• Schedule production staff and guide them through tasks, addendums, RFIs and change orders.
• Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team through design development and document phases.
• Perform other related responsibilities to fulfill project objectives.
