Job summary

Emerald Aire, Inc. in Auburn, WA is seeking a construction project coordinator to support design-to-closeout processes for HVAC VRF projects. You will coordinate with design teams, field personnel and suppliers to streamline installation and ensure quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills, plus a basic understanding of construction and HVAC concepts. Training and a positive attitude are valued; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Construction Management or Engineer degree is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Honesty, integrity and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of construction industry and HVAC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Involved with all facets of the project from design through closeout.
• A large portion of the position involves office related support to our Field to make the installation efficient.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
• Process submittals and keep project team apprised of schedule needs.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Engineering and Field Leads.
• RFI's: review, write, log, submit and track.
• Understand scope of design change documents.
• File project documentation.
• Understand schedule needs and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assemble O&M manuals.
• Job site visits about 1 time per month.

Pay: $60,000 - $75,000 Salary, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8-hour shift of time between 5:00am to 4:00pm

What You Will Be Doing

• A large portion of the position involves office related support to our Field in order to make the installation as efficient as possible
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
• Processes submittals and keep project team apprised of schedule needs.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads through the duration of the project.
• RFI's: review, write, log, submit and track.
• Understand scope of design change documents.
• File project documentation.
• Understand schedule needs of the project and communicate such with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assemble O&M manuals.
• Job site visits to ensure projects are on track, about 1 time per month
