Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. This dual-role position combines hands-on mechanical and piping design with broader project leadership, supporting projects from concept through startup.

You will develop design deliverables, coordinate procurement, review critical documents, and ensure code compliance across multiple energy facilities. Office-based role located in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and piping design deliverables for energy facilities.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activity.
• Review PPFDs, PFDs, and P&IDs for constructability and operability.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and startup.
