Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks a Structural Engineer / Project Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform structural analyses and design, support project scope and budget, and lead technical coordination from concept through startup. The role emphasizes hands-on analysis and project leadership across disciplines, ensuring safe, code-compliant designs for energy facilities with field-like collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Texas PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience with SAP, SAFE, L-Pile and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ACI 318, ASCE 7, AISC, IBC and OSHA codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and design for equipment skids, foundations, and supports.
• Serve as Project Engineer for scope, schedule, budget and cross-discipline coordination.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary deliverables and client communications.
• Review shop fabrication and third-party drawings for design compatibility.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning and startup.
• Ensure QA/QC and code-compliant designs aligned with project goals.
