Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years in the building design consulting industry; 6+ preferred.
• Experience leading design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system analysis.
• Create detailed designs, specs, and calculations to code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and gather requirements.
• Support project execution as part of a team.
• Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions; track progress.
• Analyze problems and propose practical, efficient solutions.
• Provide in-process design reviews and uphold IMEG quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to innovation at IMEG.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate risks in mechanical work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify issues and oversee projects through bidding and construction phases.
