Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Eng or equivalent; 3+ years in commercial building design.
• Experience with BIM and relevant engineering software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling within teams.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress and fees.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on practical solutions.
• Conduct in-process design reviews and ensure quality control.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovation efforts.
• Prioritize safety and participate in multidisciplinary coordination.
• Support bidding through construction administration phases.
