Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of building design consulting experience; 6+ preferred.
• Strong plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection design knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Create detailed designs, calculations, and specs to code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to determine needs and build relationships.
• Support project budgets, planning, and scheduling.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across disciplines.
• Perform in-process design reviews and ensure quality control.
