Job summary

Amphenol High Speed Products Group, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an experienced Mechanical Integrity Engineer to lead testing and analysis for new high-speed connectors. The role is based in Nashua, NH, collaborating with design, test labs, suppliers, and customers to validate product performance.

Required BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of related experience, proficiency in Pro/E/Solidworks, and strong data analysis and FEA capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of experience.
• Experience with solid modeling tools (Pro/E and/or Solidworks).
• Experience with data analysis software (MS Excel, Minitab a plus).
• Experience developing test plans for mechanical and environmental stresses of high-speed electrical connectors.
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS a plus).
• Experience with tolerance analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical testing and data analysis to support new product development.
• Develop test sequences to determine long-term reliability of cable assemblies.
• Process and analyze test results; prepare reports and presentations for customers.
• Support design with mechanical analysis, FEA, materials analysis, and test planning.
• Prepare test samples, design fixtures, and interface with test lab personnel.
• Collaborate with internal/external suppliers and manufacturing during prototyping and pilot production.
