Job summary

Bimplus in Wichita, KS is actively seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our expanding estimating team. You will prepare accurate estimates and tender returns for a range of mechanical building services projects, while supporting the sales process with cross-functional collaboration.

We require at least 3 years of Mechanical Estimator experience, NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Building Services (HNC/HND or Degree preferred), and proficiency with Trimble Estimation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Mechanical Estimator.
• Proficiency with Trimble Estimation software.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Building Services; additional degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to support sales and tendering.
• Nurture client relationships and pursue new leads.
• Lead tender updates and review tender information for clarity.
• Analyze contract conditions with the commercial team.
• Prepare estimates, quotes and tender returns for mechanical services.
• Assist with electrical estimation tasks and ensure design accuracy.
• Use Trimble Estimation to develop tender pricing schedules.
• Participate in pre-contract meetings and post-project reviews.

Requirements:

Education and Professional Qualifications:

Experience Level:

• – Bring at least 3 years' relevant experience as a Mechanical Estimator to the table.
• – Proficiency with Trimble Estimation software package with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
