Job summary

IMEG in Columbia, SC is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Grad to work with experienced engineers delivering building electrical design solutions. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training from day one.

You will collaborate on projects for education and municipal sectors, travel up to 5%, and grow technical skills through IMEG’s structured development programs while contributing to safe, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems and electronics for building design.
• Familiar with industry software: AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, ComCheck, Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems per IMEG standards.
• Support engineering analysis and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information.
