Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Mechanical Engineering – Level 2 in Azusa, CA, to lead daily operations of a manufacturing team. You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance of a unit on a large contract, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires a STEM degree with substantial experience and prior team leadership; 100% on-site work with opportunities to influence multiple functions across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years of professional experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering or production support.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience running a team and assigning daily tasks.

Responsabilités

• Oversees and manages operational aspects of manufacturing/production areas.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership across design, process development, production, operations, engineering, test, and QA.
• Manage and present status on cost, schedule, and performance for projects.
• Develop mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
