Northrop Grumman invites a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Level 3) to join our Mission Systems Sector in San Diego, CA. You will lead a large department of engineers across programs and IRAD initiatives, guiding staffing, training, and delivery of multi-discipline training plans.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive program success. The position is 100% onsite with expected collaboration across functional and program directors to ensure

Qualifications

Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required
Minimum 7 years of technical leadership experience
Experience managing a team and overseeing project work
Experience developing, designing, architecting, or deploying large software stacks
Experience with Software Integration & Test (I&T)
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
Solid software configuration management knowledge

Responsibilities

Provide functional oversight of a department of multi-discipline engineers
Lead front-line managers and staffing/workforce planning
