Job summary

IMEG Corp in Minneapolis, MN is offering a Mechanical Engineering Intern position for the 10–12 week summer program. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for education, government, and healthcare projects, working with experienced engineers and consultants.

You’ll contribute to documentation, addenda, and site observations while supporting cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of mechanical systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and document project notebooks.
• Coordinate design and schedule with architecture, structural, electrical disciplines.
• Prepare addendum information and document design decisions.
