Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program.

You will work with experienced engineers on design, analysis, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for educational, corporate, and commercial markets. A mentor and cross-disciplinary teamwork will guide project tasks while you gain hands-on experience within project budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in design consulting and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of mechanical-system projects per IMEG standards.
• Research equipment resources and assist with project documentation for permanent records.
• Coordinate design and schedules with multiple disciplines and teams.
