Job summary

S&B seeks a Mechanical Engineer Intern to contribute under supervision to routine design tasks and data collection. You will assist in sketches, calculations, and equipment data gathering for projects across industries, with exposure to field visits and basic design activities.

Current students pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering will participate in a structured internship with opportunities to learn standard design techniques and collaborate with senior engineers on EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have completed at least two years of undergrad study.
• Working knowledge of engineering software and automated design equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic design sketches and perform calculations for equipment and systems.
• Assist field data collection at plants and sites.
• Help prepare equipment lists, specifications, and requisitions for approval.
• Support design guides, specifications, and contract proposals.
