Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern to support our engineering teams and help develop building systems. You will prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings, assist with design calculations, and participate in field visits and lunch‑and‑learn sessions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, at least in their second year, with prior internship or co‑op experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Second-year student or higher required.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design and calculation software; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
