Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for a 3–12 month summer program.

You will assist experienced engineers on mechanical systems projects and gain hands-on design, analysis, and documentation experience in a collaborative team. The role emphasizes cross-discipline coordination, client-facing notes, and project documentation, with mentorship and real project work in a 100% employee-owned firm environment.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of discipline-system projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical and other disciplines.
• Document decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking progress.
• Support with field observations and review project documents for accuracy.
