IMEG Corporation, a 100% employee-owned firm, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in Philadelphia, PA for a 3-12 month Summer 2027 program. You will work closely with experienced engineers on analysis, design, and implementation oversight of mechanical systems for the building sector.

You’ll gain hands-on project experience through a mentored internship, collaborating across disciplines, supporting budgets and client expectations, with a path to full-time opportunities at IMEG.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Skilled in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.

Aufgaben

• Assist with design portions of discipline-system projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Assist with researching commercially available equipment resources.
• Assist with client relations, project design notebooks, and permanent-record documentation.
• Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment disciplines.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other contract-required services.
