IMEG Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Philadelphia, PA, offering hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship from day one.

You will support project execution, planning, documentation, quality control, and multidisciplinary coordination while aligning with budgets and client expectations, contributing to high-performance, energy-efficient design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics for building systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC load calculation software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using engineering software to create detailed designs, specifications and calculations.
• Interact with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information.
• Support the execution of consulting projects as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Analyze tasks and collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure designs meet IMEG standards and client requirements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering.
