Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience; master’s with 0 years; 4 additional years may be considered in lieu of a degree
• U.S Citizenship is required
• A current/active U.S Government Secret clearance
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with mechanical design and support, hardware development, electro-mechanical packaging, and system integration
• 1 year of proficiency with 3D CAD Tools (Siemens NX is preferred)
• 1 year of demonstrated leadership during the product development process including the review of technical work products
• Minimum of 1 year experience of demonstrated application of innovative solutions to complex problems that arise within the design, development, and production phases

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams, interfacing with mechanical engineers and analysts, and with customers/stakeholders
• Manage schedule and budget for assigned projects
• Solve challenging technical problems with innovative solutions meeting performance, cost, and schedule requirements
• Contribute to knowledge base through coaching, knowledge transfer, and process improvement activities
• Work across product life cycle: requirements analysis, concept design, detailed design, manufacture, and environmental test
