Qualifications

  • BS in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience with 3D CAD and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Knowledge of aerospace requirements, testing, and materials.
  • Experience with components like valves, actuators, mechanisms, bellows, tubes, latches, and pressurized parts.
  • Experience with fabrication, assembly/integration, and quality control related to tubes, machined components, and welded hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical component, assembly, and installation designs through full lifecycle from concept to flight and service.
  • Perform tolerance and other analysis work to validate designs and review analyses.
  • Participate in integrated product teams to coordinate development and execute plans; initiate procurement activities.
  • Support fabrication, integration, and test activities with hands-on product engineering support.
