RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for onsite work in Tucson, AZ to design and develop components for tactical missile systems. You will support production, coordinate with suppliers, and participate in design reviews and data package updates. The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in CREO; familiarity with Windchill is a plus. On-site in the Tucson facility with security clearance requirements.

Qualificações

• Degree in Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related field.
• Experience in mechanical design and documentation.
• GD&T experience per ANSI Y14.5.
• Creo (Pro/E) or similar 3D modeling software experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for tactical missile systems.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, troubleshooting, domestically and internationally.
• Interface with engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop design solutions.
• Work with limited supervision and meet commitments for schedule, cost and technical goals.
• Support design peer reviews, resolve actions, and conduct trade studies.
• Support technical data package updates and variances.
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Raytheon Source Inspection (RSI).
• Utilize Raytheon hardware tools and processes.
