Textron Systems seeks a Full time Mechanical Engineer II/III with experience in mechanical design for military applications. The candidate will work with suppliers in a multidiscipline team and integrate component designs into assemblies, with eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience designing mechanical components for high-stress systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for supplier interaction.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of structural components for military applications.
• Team member for development and design integration of mechanical systems.
• Create Technical Data Packages with 3D drawings, specs, and material lists.
• Prepare and direct high quality mechanical/electro-mechanical drawings.
• Transition product design to production and test.
• Write technical and proposal documents.
• Create design reports and summarize analysis results.
